What would your ideal film diary do?
Hi, I’m Tito G, a film fan and collector. I’m building Rewind Bench, a place to log what you watch and keep track of the movies you own.
Nothing’s built yet because I’d like to hear first from Letterboxd users, including those who also use sites like Trakt or IMDb. I want to build the ultimate social platform where film fans can share what they watch and show off what they collect.
You’ve already taken the survey. Thank you!
The survey is anonymous unless you leave your email at the end.
What’s a rewind bench?
In a projection booth, reels came off the projector and onto the rewind bench. The projectionist wound each one back by hand, checking it for damage, before it went back in its can.
The idea is similar here: a place to reflect on what you’ve watched and keep your collection in order.

That’s a wrap
Thanks for your time!
Your answers will shape what gets built first. If you left your email, you’ll hear from me when there’s something to try on Rewind Bench.
